Crews Prepare For Another Winter Blast

More winter weather is headed our way and crews are gearing up. About 250 people in Henderson County remain without power this morning - some four days after our last Friday's major storm.

Duke Energy has hired contract workers from out-of-state to help. Each day, Duke pays for their meals, which includes breakfast, a boxed lunch and dinner. Then the workers are bused to a hotel and put up for the night.

With more winter weather on the way, it's uncertain how much longer the crews with be needed.
