Santa and Mrs. Claus surprise students at Nebo Elementary School. As you'll see this Never Stop Learning report, the two took some time to spread some holiday cheer.

Students sit wide-eyed as they listen to Kris Kringle and his wife share holiday stories. The two have made a special trip to give the students at Nebo a very special gift. Their very own book donated by through the school's Title 1 Program. As Santa gives them away, he encourages the students to read during the Christmas break saying the best gift is the gift of reading.
Teachers say this event would not have been possible without the support of the community. Former McDowell County student, Chandler Arnold, donated the 650 books that were given to the children. The Marion Rotary Club and Hospice of McDowell made sure Santa and Mrs. Claus were able to visit all the way from the North Pole.
