Emma's Clothing Market

Updated: Thursday, November 14 2013, 07:25 AM EST
One mountain school is showing what it really means to be truly kind, and it starts with just one shirt and ends with a closet full of clothes.

Second graders at Emma Elementary School are volunteering their time to fold, hang and organize clothes and shoes at the schools' clothing closet.

For the last three weeks students, teachers and parents have donated items for the Great Give Away.

Tomorrow, between 7am and 7pm Emma families can come to the school gym and shop for free.

Teachers say it's a great way to take care of the people in their own community.

The kids are even got in on some advertising!  They had to write about the reason why the service learning project is so important.

Again the shopping begins for Emma families Thursday morning at 7AM.

If you have gently worn clothing items to donate, just drop them off at Emma Elementary School in Buncombe County.Emma's Clothing Market
