It's a tradition that's been passed down from generation to generation.
First graders try their hand at making mountain crafts and we meet the artists who volunteer to teach them.
A field trip to the Folk Art Center turns into a day of arts and crafts that are rich with mountain history and culture.
The guild covers the cost for all of the materials for the students.
Members say they hope to inspire young artists, in hopes of keeping the art alive.Folk Art Center
