Updated: Thursday, October 24 2013, 03:25 PM EDT
A Carolina athlete returns to her roots to share her experiences with the game of golf, and she has the kids at one school really swinging!

It's a quick lesson, compliments of professional golfer Stephanie Kenoyer.

She's sharing her love of the game with members of the Carolina Day School golf team.

The Furman graduate who, turned pro just two years ago, says golf allows her to do something she loves while making money.

She also says golf is her ticket to travel and it's gateway to a good education.

Stefanie Kenoyer, Symetra Professional golfer, "getting a college scholarship and helping my parents be able to not have to pay the tuition for a private education and then as you move on getting to travel all over the world and play in tournaments and meet people and play all over the world I feel like I have an extended family literally from California to Florida all the way to Europe and Australia."

Stephanie was in town playing in a charity golf tournament for Mission Hospital.

If you didn't get a chance to watch her play while she was in Asheville, he's also a cast member of the Golf Channel's Big Break Mexico so you can watch her on TV.Golfing at Carolina Day School
