Halloween Holiday Parade

Updated: Friday, November 1 2013, 11:38 AM EDT
From ghouls to goblins to peacocks and pirates, it was quite a display of costumes this morning at one mountain school

Everybody showed up at Evergreen Community Charter School for this Halloween holiday parade.

More than 400 students let their imaginations and creativity run wild, and they came up with some wonderful costumes.  The parents and teachers took part too.

The annual event gives the kids a short break from tests and classroom teaching but that doesn't mean the learning stops.

Eli, teacher, "we like to let them get outside the box and come up with their own ideas and you know be themselves."

Marney, teacher, "this is just a great way for the whole community to come together and have fun and we just love it."Halloween Holiday Parade
