Halloween Story Time

Updated: Thursday, October 31 2013, 03:10 PM EDT

Halloween is almost here and that can be a scary time for little kids. But a mountain library has found a way around that. As you'll see in this Never Stop Learning Report, it's a "not so scary story time."

Ms. Jill is leading story time at the Weaverville Library. Preschoolers are here to hear happy stories about Halloween. Some of the children even came in costume.

The weekly program gives children the opportunity to interact with kids their own age and to use their imagination.

The children also get a chance to make a not so scary ghost. They used a paper plate, construction paper eyes, two arms and streamers. The youngsters say they're going to hang up their happy ghosts for Halloween.
