Happy New Year!

Updated: Wednesday, January 1 2014, 01:28 PM EST
Some mountain kids celebrated new years a little bit early... 12-hours before midnight actually, at Noon.

Kids at Hands On make their own noise makers to celebrate the new year.

They did it with just a few simple things, some paper plates, beans and staples! Then they decorated it to their liking.

Kids were excited for 2014, they even had some of their own resolutions.

Despite the early celebration, it looks like the kids eyes are set on the real deal...staying up until midnight.

And parents there say they'll let them, as long as they can make it!Happy New Year!
