About 35 kids are "giving back" to their community this summer.

They're volunteering at a children's museum and they're loving every minute of it!

The older students are volunteering this summer at Hands On Gallery in downtown Hendersonville.

The teens are called "playologists".  Their responsibility is to keep the exhibits in order as well as interact with the visitors.

The junior volunteers say they love working with the public, and learned some things about little kids that surprised them.

During the summer months, an average of 1,000 people visit the children's museum each week.Junior Volunteers
