Some young scientists are having quite the summer, some are going sky high!
30 students are participating in the this physics camp at TC Roberson High School.
They've built their own rockets and now they get to see what works and what doesn't.
Teachers have talked with them about Isaac Newtons laws about objects in motion and at rest.
Students say at this camp they use their brain power, which is much more fun than swimming or playing video games.
The kids say they learn all sorts of things, including drag and friction.
Plus, they got the opportunity to hang out with some high school kids who are volunteering from TC Roberson.
