Remembering the School Year

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 10:18 PM EDT
It's the last day of school for Buncombe County students and for some of them it's a bitter sweet day.

They'll miss their old school, but look forward to new challenges.

In our Never Stop Learning report, one group of 4th graders share what they've learned along the way.

Every morning Mr. Trainers' 4th graders "huddle up" and decide as a team what needs be done each day, and the last day of school is no different.
They remind each other to listen to their teachers, continue to be role models and be proud of how they've grown as a group, important lessons they'll need when they attend a new school next year.

And 2nd graders get advice and assurance from Ms. Ballards third graders.

Next year things will change for all of them and each grade level is doing it's best to make their school mates are at ease about the transition.
