Learning about Western North Carolina's rock and mineral history is as easy as making a trip downtown.
In today's Never Stop Learning were heading to the Colburn Earth Science Museum for a scavenger hunt!
Turner is just one of many kids who make a trip to the museum and get to learn about the earth science right in our back yard.
To make the experience more hands-on the museum offers a scavenger hunt.
On the hunt kids are asked to explore and find rocks, minerals and a series of gems to check off their list.
To make the hunt even better, kids are treated to a prize at the end!
