Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 10:21 PM EDTAsheville's famous Smoky Park Bridge is officially the Captain Jeff Bowen Bridge. The official renaming ceremony, for the Asheville firefighter who died in the line of duty last year, was held Wednesday morning. First responders from across the mountains were on hand to pay tribute to Captain Bowen.
