Government officials say they've met their goal of fixing the troubled website, Healthcare.gov. An administrator with Health and Human Services says it's the difference between night and day. Local navigators and certified application counselors in Asheville say the site has seen improvements. But glitches and delays still exist, according to people trying to enroll in the healthcare program.
Pisgah Legal Services says the site still faces some challenges and they're not certain how many if any have been enrolled through their agency. A spokesperson says they have made progress by phone and paper and they're still giving needed advice and guidance to people seeking help.
If you'd like help enrolling, you can call 855-733-3711 to make an appointment through a statewide hotline with a navigator to help you with the application process.
