Crystal San Juan of Asheville began collecting signatures, as flight to Fort Lauderdale was in a seemingly endless hold pattern.
"This is so that we can all collectively contact Allegiant," explains San Juan. "And tell them what a hard time we've had."
Eventually, flight 917 headed to it's destination early Monday afternoon.
Allegiant Air says the flight was rescheduled Sunday because of weather conditions in Florida.
The airline says the weather caused air traffic control delays and holds, leaving 132 passengers in limbo at Asheville Regional Airport.
Many were frustrated by the lack of communication. Some scrambled to find a hotel room late Sunday night.
The airline brought a plane in Monday morning, but they were promptly deplaned.
Finally, at around 12:15, the flight left the runway en route to Fort Lauderdale.
