Angel Tree Gifts

Hundreds of children in Henderson County will have Christmas gifts this year, thanks to the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army began handing out Angel Tree gift bags Thursday. They're full of goodies for 917 kids whose families applied for Christmas assistance back in October. Along with the gifts, there's also a box of food to make sure their families get a Christmas dinner.
If you didn't sign up for assistance, it's still not too late to get help. Friday's giveaway will go on until supplies run out. Just go to the former Food Lion on Greenville Highway.
