Blue Ridge Parkway Updates

The most visited area in the National Park system will see some changes to hopefully draw in more people.
Blue Ridge Parkway superintendent Phil Francis says camping has declined recently.
So his plan is to add showers and electricity at some sites to get more people to camp out there.
The parkway team also wants to have the parkway added to the national register for historic places and in the national landmark system in the coming years.
Each year, millions of people visit the parkway.
