Seven Mars Hill College students find out they won't be facing criminal charges.
This morning the judge dismissed the theft charges against all of the football players.
Investigators said the players had tried to steal a cooler of beer from the back of a man's truck in September.
They say the man, Wayne Parton, fired a gun at the players. No one was injured
One of the players, Tavious Banks, spoke to News 13 after court this morning, "oh, a relief I can go on with my life. I just graduated and I had this hanging over my head and I'm just glad it's over."
Parton, Who is facing felony charges for the shooting, did not show up at court today.
That's why the judge dismissed the charges against the students.
