Guilty Plea In Connection With Deadly Stabbing

A man charged in connection with a deadly bar stabbing in West Asheville pleads guilty. Richard Anderson pled guilty to an assault with a deadly weapon charge. Anderson was originally charged with aiding and abetting Stevie Davis in the murder of Steven Wike at Mike's Tavern last April. Davis was sentenced to five and a half years in prison for voluntary manslaughter in the case. Anderson received a sentence of 150 days with credit for time served and 120 days suspended on two other charges.
