Haywood County Sheriff Vote

Democratic leaders in Haywood County have chosen their new sheriff in a landslide vote.
Former Highway Patrolman and Haywood County native Greg Christopher took 104 out of 136 total votes today.
The results will be presented to county commissioners Monday morning for final approval, then Christopher will be sworn in.
He'll replace former Sheriff Bobby Suttles, who retired.
