Henderson County fire

A Henderson County family is safe after fire nearly destroys their house.
It happened around 10 a.M. Saturday morning on Pinellas Street in Mountain home.

Homeowner Edward Wolfe says his wife, son, and grandson were at home.

Wolfe says his son and grandson noticed smoke in the bathroom and called 911.

Fire crews managed to get the blaze under control in about 20 minutes.
The second floor and attic are damaged but Wolfe says he's thankful the fire wasn't worse.

Edward Wolfe, "its an old house..but its in pretty good shape, it was, pretty solid... Don't know what its like now."

Wolfe says he lived in the home for 8 years.

The Red Cross is helping the family.
