Highway 441 Landslide

A landslide took out a section of Highway 441 in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park on January 16th.
It happened during a period of heavy rain.
Park Rangers say the slide is about 3 football fields in length. Surveyors from the federal Highway Administration are assessing the situation.
Park Rangers say they will have a better idea by the end of the week about how they are going to repair the damage.
