Last Minute Christmas Shopping

Last minute shoppers flood mountain retail shops. The Asheville Mall parking lot was full for much of the
day. While the crowd was steady, one retailer said the mall wasn't nearly as
jammed as it was over the weekend. Many procrastinators went to the gift wrapping area which
raised money for Care Partners Hospice. This year across the nation, retail experts expect the
holiday shopping numbers to be up 2.5 percent from 2012.
