Laurel Park Bank Robbery

A man wearing a surgical mask robbed a bank in Laurel Park today.
The hold up happened just before 1pm at the Wells Fargo on Brevard Road.
Police say the man walked in to the bank and pulled out a gun.
Surveillance pictures show the robber wearing a surgical mask and carrying a small gun.
Investigators say the man showed the teller his weapon and then demanded cash.
A customer who was being helped at the time says the robber actually pushed him out of the way.
He tells News 13 the teller put the money in a bag, the man grabbed it and then took off.
Bill Threlkeld, bank customer, "the little sack he had, he just took it and headed toward the same door he came in and made the statement don't look at me through the glass, I may turn and shoot. So he went on out the door. He didn't even look back."
The description of the robber is vague.
Police say he was possibly Hispanic and may have left the bank in a blue Mercedes.
