Macon County Deputy Investigated

The Macon County Sheriff's Office is investigating one of its own for allegedly communicating threats. Sheriff Robbie Holland says Detective Amy Stewart has been served with two misdemeanor criminal summonses.
According to court documents, Stewart allegedly made verbal threats to a former Franklin High basketball coach, claiming she tried to have her daughter removed from the team. In another case, an affidavit claims Stewart used Facebook to warn one of her daughter's schoolmates that "he better watch his back.
Stewart has been assigned to administrative duties pending the outcome of an internal investigation. Her cases come up in court January 10th and 24th.
