McDowell Co. Shooting Arrest

A Marion man is behind bars after deputies say he fired a shotgun into his neighbor's house.
31-year-old Justin Yelton is charged with felony discharging a weapon into occupied property and misdemeanor resisting arrest and communicating threats.
Officials say a neighbor reported someone fired a shot into her home on squirrel hollow road last week. They say Yelton later admitted he'd been shooting his shotgun. Deputies say when they took him into custody, Yelton threatened an officer and beat his head against the cage in the patrol car.
