A shocking discovery inside a Murphy home. Ten newborn puppies, starved to death.
Now, 52 year old Richard Cseh is charged with Felony Animal Abuse.
Cherokee County Sheriff's deputies made the discovery after they evicted Cseh last week.
Neighbors also helped, uncovering a situation worse than originally thought.
Deputies say 52-year old Cseh was evicted from the trailer in the Peachtree Community. Neighbor Jason Wolfe says he went back with a friend to clean, "she went to move the couch and the couch cushion pull over and there was 10 more dead puppies inside the couch."
Sheriff Keith Lovin says Cseh abandoned 10 one-week old puppies, leaving them behind with no food or heat, and took their mother with him, all contributing to their deaths.
Cseh is currently free on $5,000 bond. He's scheduled to appear in Cherokee County court later this month.
