Ready For Winter

A winter storm leaves snow across the mountains from Buncombe County all the way to Cherokee. Crews had their work cut out for them. Up to 3 inches of snow fell in some portions of the mountains Saturday night and Sunday morning. The NCDOT spent the night checking the roads and bridges. Before snow fell, crews laid down sand and salt in higher elevations.
