Massive Tornado Rips Through OK
Rutherford Co. Shooting Suspect Arrested

A man wanted for a shooting in Rutherford County is now in police custody. Earl Paul Bowers was arrested early Thursday morning in South Carolina by Cherokee County deputies.
Police say Bowers was a suspect in a shooting incident on Old Caroleen Road in Forest City late Wednesday night. Rutherford County Sheriff Detectives secured warrants against Bowers for Assault With Deadly Weapon With Intent To Kill Inflicting Serious Injury and Second Degree Trespass.
Rutherford County Sheriff Detectives are in the process of having Bowers extradited back to Rutherford County
