A recall of spinach grown out west, worries a local non-profit.
"Black Mountain Welcome Table" feeds hundreds of people in need each week at St. James Episcopal Church.
The chef says Wednesday's meal included bags of "Taylor Farms Spinach."
Some of their baby spinach has been recalled because it could be contaminated with e-coli.
John Crognale, Welcome Table, "quite a serious thing... Fed 370 people yesterday and quite a few a few had the spinach salad, so we felt we needed to get the word out."
Taylor Farms says so far, no illnesses have been reported.
"Welcome Table" was notified of the re-call by Sam's Club, where the spinach was purchased.
