Teen Charged In Deadly Stabbing

Updated: Monday, April 29 2013, 09:46 PM EDT

An Asheville teenager is now facing second degree murder charges after a deadly stabbing. Police say 16-year-old Danras Bunsie stabbed two men outside a bar on North Market Street early Sunday morning. Travis Schoon, who was visiting from Maryland, died.

It's unclear what led to the violence, but Schoon's relatives say he had only been in town just a few hours before he was killed. Schoon's father accompanied his son on their trip to Asheville.  His mother is on a three week church trip to Australia.

Bunsie is a former A.C. Reynolds High School student. School records show he had been kicked out of school in February for a string of discipline problems. Bunsie later dropped out March 4th.

Bunsie is in jail on a $750,000 bond.
