Topton Man Arrested For Starving Newborn Puppies To Death

Murphy, NC- Richard Cseh, a 52-year-old Topton North Carolina man was arrested on charges of Felony Animal Abuse in connection with the starvation of 10 puppies.
During the eviction of Cseh from a residence in Cherokee County North Carolina, it was discovered that Cseh had abandoned ten, one week old, puppies in the trailer where he was being evicted from without providing nourishment or heat. Further investigation revealed that Cseh upon vacating the residence had taken the mother of the week old puppies with him. Upon further investigation Investigators were able to determine that the abandonment by Cseh was had played a part in the death of the puppies.
Cseh was arrested and made his initial appearance before the North Carolina Magistrate who set him a $5,000.00 unsecure bond. Cseh is scheduled to appear in Cherokee County District Court later this month.
