Upstate Stabbing

An Upstate man is in jail after deputies say he stabbed his nephew over the weekend.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff says Clifford Lee stabbed Carlos Whitener, once in the arm around 9am Sunday morning.
Authorities say Lee was arguing with his girlfriend when Whitener further angered Lee.
Whitener was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Lee is charged with first-degree assault and battery.
