Youth Football President's Home Raided by Drug Agents

Updated: Wednesday, December 12 2012, 09:04 PM EST

Henderson County narcotics agents and SWAT officers raided the Hunt family home in East Flat Rock Wednesday morning.  The house is on Jody Street and has been subject of numerous community complaints, according to Capt. Frank Stout with the Henderson Co. Sheriff's Office.

Stout said deputies seized marijuana, cash, and drug paraphernalia during the raid.  The homeowner, 57-year-old Harvey Hunt was charged with misdemeanor possession and maintaining a dwelling for narcotics.

Hunt's children and grandchildren became angry at the sight of a News 13 crew on the scene to cover the story.  Several threats were made but the situation calmed when deputies returned to the residence.

Harvey was being held in jail under a $2,000 bond.  The investigation is ongoing.
