Animal hoarding is causing a problem for animal rescue groups in Rutherford County. They are struggling to deal with an overwhelming number of underfed horses and cattle.
The animals are on land that belongs to an elderly couple who is no longer able to take care of them. Delores Hanser of PAWS Ranch Equine Rescue says the animals have multiplied in number over the past few years. Hanser says it is one of the worst cases of animal hoarding she has ever seen.
