No arrests of TSA agents have happened at Asheville Regional or GSP International airport since TSA began screening passengers. But TSA records reveal the airports have paid claims to dozens of passengers who've lost personal items at the airport.
Passengers we spoke with say it's happened to them. Tammy Hash of Louisiana says she had personal items taken from her bag and now only flies with a carry-on. Another woman we spoke with says she had clothing taken from a checked bag on a flight from Atlanta to China.
