The Asheville Tourists score five runs in the first, off of three home runs to beat the Drive in Greenville 11-3. Evereth Cabrera, Michael Mitchell and Jeffrey Cunningham with the early bombs. Asheville takes two of three in the series. In college ball, Furman scored 3 in the first inning at Western Carolina to take a lead they would never lose. The Cats rallied in the first with a two run home run from Reed Rollison, but that was all they could score. Furman wins it 4-2. The two teams play two more games in Cullowhee this weekend.
