Prep football teams had their first official practices for the 2008 season on Friday. The teams aren't allowed to put on the full gear until next Friday August 8.
The first games--endowment games--can be played on August 22.
ABC 13 Sports will present its annual one hour Football Frenzy Preview Show on August 22, from 7 to 8 pm, live from the McDowell at Enka football game.
