It's peak season for much of the tourism industry and that means they're scrambling to deal with the closing of I-40 due to the recent rockslide. Federal funds should soon come to help fix the mess. Governor Perdue declared a state of emergency today. Now, one of the largest industries here in the mountains is trying to make sure travelers still show up. Attractions, hotels and destinations realize they have no time to waste as they wait for the road to open. The industry is doing everything it can to make would be visitors aware of alternate routes. Wednesday they met to make sure everyone's marketing blitz is similar. That includes The Biltmore Estate which, like many other businesses, has added alterate route information to its website. Christmas season starts November 6th for the Biltmore Estate. 270,000 visitors are expected in the next two months
