There are more arrests and new charges in a Haywood County murder case.

27 yr. old Matthew Caldwell was originally charged with second-degree murder in the death of 44 yr. old Jesse Parker. But a grand jury just indicted Caldwell on a first-degree murder charge.

Parker's nude body was found October 26th on Panther Creek Rd. in a remote area of Haywood County.

Authorities also arrested Caldwell's wife, 27 yr. old Crystal Moody, and charged her with accessory after the fact.

Two other women, 24 yr. old Alicia Creasman, and 22 yr. old Ashley Duckett, also face charges. They, along with Caldwell and Moody, are charged with conspiracy to commit murder and second-degree burglary.

All four suspects are in the Haywood County detention center.
