Some Buncombe County property owners promise to pack a public hearing tonight to protest a planned annexation from the town of Woodfin.
The residents say Woodfin has nothing to offer them that they don't already have. They say they have paved streets, water, sewer, protection by Buncombe County deputies, and they don't need the additional taxes from Woodfin.
Town officials say they have plenty of services to offer residents. News 13 is at tonight's meeting at Woodfin Elementary School, and we'll have reaction from the crowd tonight on News 13 at 10 on MY40 and News 13 at 11.
