Vehicle Break-Ins in Biltmore Lake
Several Biltmore Lake residents say they're the victims of vehicle break-ins.
One of them tells News 13 the vehicles were broken into either late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.
She says her boyfriend's company truck was one of them.
She says the thief or thieves made off with a GPS, radar detector, cash, medication, and even chapstick.
The victim says police told her all the vehicles hit had something in common.
"I asked him [my boyfriend] if he had locked it. He said no he forgot because it had started raining. We shut the garage down, put the kids to bed, and just forgot about it," said Amy, who didn't want to use her last name.
Amy says there was no damage to her boyfriend's truck, which had been parked in the driveway.
The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
