Teacher Faces More Charges
A Henderson County teacher, accused of soliciting a minor on-line for sex, faces even more charges.
68 year old David Pace, a carpentry teacher at North Henderson High School, was arrested Tuesday in Arden, where he'd arranged to meet an undercover officer, posing as a young girl, for sex.
News13 has learned Pace also faces four counts of criminal solicitation of a minor in Greenville, SC. Greenville detectives say Pace talked on-line with an undercover officer posing as a 13 year old girl on four occasions, including one during which he performed a sexual act on his web-cam.
Detectives say Pace set up a meeting with the officer in Greenville, but that same day, went to Arden instead, where he was arrested.
Pace is being held in the Buncombe County jail on a $190,000 bond. Greenville Police have put a hold on Pace, and plan to arrest him if and when he bonds out of jail.Teacher Faces More Charges (7/11/08)
