• ALMANAC

	A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for elevations above 3,500 feet from 8 A.M. until midnight Monday night. Rain will fall across WNC and The Upstate through evening. Overnight, the rain will intensify with periods of heavy rain likely along with a few thunderstorms. Gusty winds will develop later tonight and Monday. Along with the chance for rain Monday, higher elevations will see accumulating snow as colder air filters down. Snow amounts will range from around a dusting near 3,000 feet, to as much as several inches above 4,000 feet by Monday evening! Elevations below 3,000 feet will see a mix of rain and snow with little to no accumulation expected. Highs Monday will only reach the 40s with warmer weather returning by Wednesday as highs will climb into the mid and upper 60s once again.
