Updated: Friday, January 11 2013, 07:19 AM EST
UNCA couldn't overcome a 20 point second half deficit and fall at Gardner-Webb. UNCA did cut the lead to 7 behind Will Week's career high 27 points but that's as close as they could get. Its the first time Gardner-Webb has beaten UNCA since joining the Big South in 2008.
Asheville High School girls soccer coach Mike Flowe is resigning after 18 years but will stay on as the boys coach. He wanted to spend more time with his family.
