Shelby Beats Haywood Post 47, All-Star Football Camp, Owen Football Will Host 27th Warhorse Classic (7-8-13)

The American Legion Baseball Summer League is getting closer and closer to the World Series.  Haywood Post 47 ends the season with a 3-0 loss at the hands of Shelby Post 82. 

For the second straight summer, Asheville High School will be the site for a free football camp for kids on Saturday, July 13th.  Former Asheville stars and pro football players, Crezdon Butler and Johnny White will host the camp. 

The Owen Football Program will host the 27th Warhorse Golf Classic on Friday, July 12 at Black Mountain Golf Course. 

Former Christ School basketball star, Mason Plumlee is not wasting any time making a positive impression on his new team, the Brooklyn Nets.  During his Summer League debut, Plumlee records a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
