Smoky Mtn. Beats West, Enka Hall of Fame Class (1-31-13)

Smoky Mountain got an 86-66 win at West Henderson. The Mustangs led by Mark Thompson with 31 and Cal Raleigh with 22 points. The Falcons were down by 31 at the half, but cut the lead to 15 behind Zack Bell's 19 and Josh Vanwingerden's 25  but  the rally stalls in the 4th quarter.The Mustangs stay 2 behind Tuscola in the WNCAC race.


The Enka Jets will induct Scott Connor, and Dan Morgan and state champion teams in volleyball and girls basketball  from 1982-83 into the school's Hall of Fame Friday between girls and boys basketball games with Asheville.
