Western Carolina loses a 7 point second half lead and loses on the road at Samford 64-60. The Catamounts with 2 straight SOCON losses after starting  4-0.


UNCA women's team extends its Big South losing streak to 17 straight after fallling to Presbyterian at Kimmel Arena 56-49.


All area prep basketball games postponed Thursday due to the bad weather.
