Mason Plumlee Makes USA Basketball National Team Roster, Spurs Hire First Female Coach, Tourists Will Give Out Russell Wilson Bobbleheads (8-5-14) story image
Former Christ School basketball star, Mason Plumlee has been added to the USA Basketball National Team roster for 2014-2016.  Plumlee is also a finalist right now for the FIBA World Cup roster. 

The San Antonio Spurs have hired Becky Hammon to be the first female full-time, paid assistant coach in the NBA.  Hammon is currently finishing up her 16th and final season of playing in the WNBA. 

The Asheville Tourists will give away Russell Wilson bobbleheads to the first 1,000 fans through the gates at McCormick Field for the home game on Saturday, August 9th.  Russell Wilson played for the Tourists in 2011 when he had 44 hits and 3 homeruns.  Wilson led the Seattle Seahawks to the Super Bowl Championship last season.
