Four Arrested In Moonshine and Marijuana Bust
Madison County deputies raid a home on Roaring Fork Road and find a marijuana growing operation and a liquor still.
Deputies say the four people they arrested broke into the home and stole some of the processed pot and alcohol. Lonnie King, Kevin Taylor, James Blackburn and Kashmir Boros face four felony charges each.
The raid happened after a neighbor saw someone removing items from the home around 1 a.m. Monday and called the Madison County Sheriff's Office. Authorities removed barrels full of liquor-making mash and 100 gallons of the finished product. 50 marijuana plants were also seized, along with the equipment to grow them.
Detectives continue their investigation of the house and the drug and booze operation. They say charges are pending on those using the house illegally.
